It took me a few chapters to get into this book, but so glad I did! The story builds a bit slowly, jumping back and forth in time revealing only hints at a time, but the characters grab hold of you immediately – keeping you turning pages to find out what happens next. This is the first book I’ve read by Catherine Ryan Hyde but I will certainly seek out more. Highly recommend.
